Climate Resilient Village (CRV) is an integrated approach to build community resilience to climate stresses through capacity building, demonstration of the site-specific climate-resilient technologies, developing knowledge and information sharing mechanisms, and mainstreaming climate change into the local planning process. SAHAS Nepal and MCC designed this project to implement in Phulkharka of Gangajamuna Rural Municipality in Dhading District. The project will address the climate change-induced problems of the three community-based organizations (CBOs) of the resource-poor, marginalized, and socially excluded groups in the project site who are most vulnerable. In addition, the project aimed to scale up the approach through local governments and Community Based Network Organizations (CBNOs) using the good lessons learned and the champion practices of the project as evidence. The project will also focus on knowledge documentation and dissemination using print and electronic media.
